MDT II:
MDT is the FCS/DCS system which is developed on basis of a 100% standard architecture based on Fieldbus technology and is able to control all kinds of industrial processes (such as processes of power plants, refining, petrochemical, chemical and food industry) with any degree of complexity.
MDT consists of two main parts:
1- Supervisory Control Platform2- Process Control Platform
Hardware equipments of MDT can be divided into two categories based on their installation:
1- Rack-mount devices which includes conventional controllers and I/O cards,2- stand-alone cards such as gateway and LAN switches.
